Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25 April 2026

This policy explains how cistracker.uk uses cookies and similar technologies.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to site owners.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are essential for the site to function and cannot be switched off:

  • Session management (when you log into the web app)
  • Cookie consent preferences
  • Security tokens for form submissions

Analytics (optional)

If you consent, we use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used. These cookies help us improve the site. We do not use Google Analytics or third-party advertising trackers.

Payment processing

If you upgrade to a paid plan, Stripe sets cookies to process payments and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.

3. The Mobile App

The CIS Tracker mobile app does not use cookies in the traditional web sense. It does store local data on your device for performance and offline support, including authentication tokens, cached records, and preferences. This data is stored using your device's secure storage and is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.

4. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can refuse all cookies or delete cookies that have already been set. Refusing strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
